, while searching laptops, I was wow, awesome HP now have a music store, HP the world best PC manufacture got their own Music store, I was actually expecting it to be same as Nokia Music Store, I personally cant say much about radio mix as havent use it but the old Nokia OVI music was world best music store, but after using it I found it little dirty, worst songs are limited right now, no search tool, limited songs can be the reason to not provide search tool, but it should be provided at least to have good experience with available songs.
In most new HP system app is pre-installed and if it is not, a app with the same is which will direct you to HP Music service which will in turn direct you to windows store(in browsers) then by clicking install may the Windows store open and then you can download from there
Interference (UI)
UI is preity good(ohh its start raining outside ;) ) Windows 8 block style is here too, We get categories like Top Songs, Latest, Hungama recommends, Radio, editors choice, videos and news. One can scroll from left to right by scrolling or by touching.
There is nice player in the bottom which appears when music is played further it can be shortened but not dismissed. A player UI also appears when one uses music keys(volume, play/pause, next, previous) where
mouse or touch also can be used to interfere.
Video player got full screen mode too, volume bar, share button. |
Features & Experience
In terms of features HP music is not giving the master tool "Search option" which upsets alot, instead of it various search option are available like search by mood which includes categories like romantic, sad etc; by temp, time and category. Right now HP Connect Music do not have a large music database but all latest songs can be find.
Listening experience is not that good, in order to buffer the music with time app keeps playback song quality low but Downloaded song is of priety good quality.
Notification Style of app is freaking bad, you have to respond to it, Download started- click ok, download complete click OK, this is second worst thing.
