Opening Bank account first time is no easy, some of you may need to twice, some thrice but it takes a lot of time taking help of broker for this little work is really not a good thing or going to Internet cafe and giving them big money is really silliness.
Documents Required
- Identity Proof
- Address Proof
- At least 2 recent photo
- some amount of money
Address Proof mostly required only when Address on your identity proof dosent matches with current address. Make sure you got your PHOTO on both type of PROOF.
Choosing a Bank
This one depends on person,
- If are a traveler than bank with largest ATM service in country and if International traveler than bank with best international service.
- Student : Then choose bank with best student offer, then switch over later.
- No special demands, then give priority to government Banks.
I prefer SBI.
Procedure
- Google "Bank name account opening form"
- Fill the form in Capital Letter
- As your permanent address, enter address as given in Identity proof, NO MATTER WHAT.
- As your current address Enter your current address(Make sure you have address proof for that)
Thats all, these are critical points for someone,
Internet Bank and all other feature choose according to you, if you a Internet connection and PC, then you must apply for Internet Banking as now everything can be done with it like paying bills, recharge, paying college fees or transferring money money.
